Thanksgiving is upon us and we have a lot to be thankful for. Even with all the crazy things going on around us. If you are in good health and in your right mind you have plenty to be thankful for. Seems like we are conditioned to only care about the major things in life and forget about the small things. Im speaking from experience. I once was a person who always focus on the big things. Always wanted the show, all the credit. As i get older I realize those things don’t matter. Spending with time with my family doing things around the house are way more appreciated than you think. So this thanksgiving remember that you have a lot to be thankful for, and show your family that you love them.
So yesterday on The Everydayman.Net we touched basis on the riots going on in Charlottesville, VA. I can honestly say I didn't know about the situation until Jay and Kenneth bought it to my attention. As we were recording yesterday i received an alert saying a someone drive in a group of crowded people. Sources say it was a young woman who was protesting that was killed, and others were injured. I know we have our difference of opinion on what's going in Virginia, but what do you do when you have white supremacist protesting?
In today's world is it worth protesting? It's a question i ask myself every time I see it on tv or on the internet. We all know all these hate groups should be labeled as terrorist, but President Trump took them of certain list if I'm not mistaken to protect them. So when you go out to these protest you have to be in the mindset of that you may not make it home that night. It a sad reality but a real one. No matter the color of your skin this can be a threat to us all so we must pay attention!
